School Starts Aug. 14 for St. Charles School District Students

Students in the St. Charles School District will start class on Aug. 14 - a Wednesday - this year.

The schools will have 11 early release days this year, the first coming on Aug. 30. Students are in class for 176 days, and the last scheduled day of school is May 23. The district has six snow days built into the calendar.

• Fall break begins Tuesday, Nov. 26 with an early release day, and students return to class Monday, Dec. 2.
• Winter break will run from Dec. 20-Jan. 6, with students getting out early on Dec. 20, a Friday.
• Spring break is scheduled for March 21 to 28.
