St. Charles County Historical Society House Tour Planned

Event features stops at a number of historically significant places in St. Charles.

The St. Charles County Historical Society will host a house tour of mid-town St. Charles from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 21. 

The tour includes stops at a number of late 19th-century houses and buildings including Benton School, which is currently being used as the St. Charles School District Administrative Center. The tour will start there, at 400 North Sixth Street. 

According to a press release, guides will share stories and history of each location. Tickets purchased in advance for $15 each. They can be purchased online, by email at info@scchs.org or by calling (636) 946-9828.
