St. Charles Couple Indicted On Federal Drug Charges

If convicted, Anthony Marion and Lauren Martinez could face life in prison.

ST. CHARLES, MO — Anthony Domontay "Bird" Marion, 34, and Lauren Nicole Martinez, 29, were indicted in federal court last month on drug charges. The St. Charles couple is charged with distributing heroin to a person identified in court documents only by the initials J.W in February 2016, which prosecutors say caused the man's death.

The charges set forth in the indictment do not constituent proof of guilt; every defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. If convicted, the couple could face 20 years to life in prison and fines of $1 million.
