
As you plan your first full week in August, here are a few things coming up to add to the calendar:
- Head to the Bike Stop Cafe, 701 South Riverside Drive, at 5:45 a.m. on Thursday for the weekly sunrise bike ride. The group will head north on the Katy Trail to Boschert Greenway, then to New Town and back, a 10 mile route.Â
- School starts on Aug. 8 - that's Thursday - for students in the Francis Howell School District.Â
- Don your Hawaiian attire and head to an Hawaiian Luau at Blanchette Park Thursday, Aug. 8 at 5:30 p.m. Pre-registration required. Buffet dinner and luau performance included. Cost is $15 per adult and $8 child 12 and under.Â
- Head to Kathryn Linnemann Library Branch in St. Charles at 10 a.m. Aug. 6Â for Mother Goose Time. This story time is for children 12 months to 23 months.Â
- Peaches will perform jazz at Picasso's on Main Street Friday, Aug. 9 from 8-11 p.m.
