WARRENTON, MO — Portions of Interstate 70 are closed in both directions near mile marker 181, west of Warrenton, Missouri, due to a "multi vehicle incident," state officials say. Witnesses posted photos and video of a tanker truck on fire Wednesday evening near the scene. It's not clear when the highway will reopen.

I-70 Eastbound outside Warrenton is backed up. I can only assume westbound is blocked entirely. Big ole plume of smoke, friends a ways back say there's a huge fire behind those trees. pic.twitter.com/Bvn6Fhw4tl
