The Weekend: Free Summer Concert in New Town, Two Chances to Hear Miss Jubilee

As we draw closer to the weekend, you may be looking for something to do with your friends or family in St. Charles. Don't worry - we're here to help.Â
- St. Charles Municipal Band performs every Thursday at 8 p.m. in Frontier Park. Pack a picnic and head out to hear the band play.Â
- Rhythm Music and Performing Arts Studio is hosting a free summer concert at New Town Amphitheater from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4. Guests are invited to bring a pack of socks or underwear to donate to The Little Bit Foundation. Musical performances by Krystie Douglas, Acoustic Edge and Lisa Jones, and Almost Heroes.
- Act II Community Theater will present "Boeing, Boeing," Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $14 for students and $18 for adults.Â

- Two chances to hear Miss Jubilee and the Humdingers. Head to Magpie's on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. or to the Moonshine Bar at Hendricks BBQ on Saturday. Doors open at 7 p.m., music starts at 9 p.m.
