When Do You Turn on Your Air Conditioning?
Temperatures have regularly been in the 90s this week during the day. And evening temperatures aren't too much cooler. One Patch editor has already given up and turned on his AC. What about you?

After beginning the week with a late-night frost warning, temperatures in St. Charles and surrounding areas have soared into the 90s, giving us the first taste of prolonged heat this year.Â
According to the forecast, temperatures look like they'll cool off a bit—into the mid 80s for most of the weekend—but it'll still be hot outside.Â
Personally, I caved last week when I turned my air conditioning unit on despite temperatures barely hovering over 80.Â

And, if our friends on Facebook are any indication, I'm not alone!
"I've had mine on for a while... got bad allergies," said Joey Crocker.Â

"We turned it on back in March when it got really warm, then back off again when it got cold!" Kathryn Crisler said.
Still others are holding out hope for cooler days ahead.Â
"No AC yet," said Tom Besselman. "Holding out (with) just the attic fan tonight. Close up the house in the AM then it's cooler when we get home in the afternoon. For now anyway."
What about you? Have you turned your air conditioner on yet? Do you have a general policy regarding the air? Such as only when it's above 90?Â
