Accidents Slow Down Traffic On I-270 Southbound, I-70 Eastbound

ST. LOUIS, MO — The Missouri Department of Transportation reports several accidents around the St. Louis area that may make for a difficult Monday afternoon commute.

An accident just past Manchester Road on Interstate 270 southbound should be cleared by 5:10 p.m., officials said. Another, also on Interstate 270 southbound, just past Dorsett Road, should be cleared by 5:16 p.m. In the case of the second, officials said be prepared to stop, so if you can reroute, it's probably a good idea.

A third accident has the left lane closed on Interstate 70 eastbound past Bermuda Road. That one should be cleared by 5:30 p.m.
