ST. LOUIS, MO — Fresh off of winning a Grammy, Beck is going on tour. And St. Louis is on the list of tour dates. On Sunday, the 48-year-old musician, who shot to fame in 1993 with his hit song “Loser,” won two Grammy awards, including Best Alternative Music Album for his 2017 LP “Colors.”

Rolling Stone gave Beck’s album “Colors” 4 out 5 stars and said it was a “brilliant attempt to reckon with — and put his own stamp on — modern pop in the late 2010s.”

“The result is his most straight-ahead fun album since the Nineties,” wrote author Will Hermes.

The pop culture magazine in 2017 called the songs “Dreams” and “Wow” the highlights of the now-Grammy award-winning album, but said nearly every other song was also deserving.

For many, Cage The Elephant is a household name, too. The alternative band has charted hits including “Trouble,” “Come A Little Closer,” “Back Against The Wall,” and “Ain’t No Rest For The Wicked.”
