Conception Art Show At Morgan Street Brewery March 24
The show will feature live music, complimentary appetizers, and the work of more than 20 local artists.
ST. LOUIS, MO — Morgan Street Brewery will host the Conception Art Show March 24, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. It is the second time the show has been held at the brewery. The last was in October, 2017.
Conception Arts was founded in New York City in 2011, and the company says its mission is to boost emerging artists by giving them the opportunity to showcase and sell their work at pop-up shows across across the country.
“Dictators are threatened by artists. That makes them extremely vulnerable now,” Rachel Wilkins, the show's founder, told the Huffington Post last year, explaining that independent art shows are more important than ever as funding for the arts is increasingly put on the federal chopping block.
