Marcus Theatres Say 'Incredibles 2' Could Cause Seizures
Marcus Theatres around St. Louis are issuing seizure warnings regarding strobe effects in Disney's 'Incredibles 2.'

ST. LOUIS, MO — Marcus Theatres is joining a number of venues across the country who are posting warnings about Disney's new film, "Incredibles 2," saying it may trigger seizures for those with epilepsy or other photosensitive conditions.
The film opened Friday to the biggest box office numbers ever seen for an animated movie. But, multiple audience members have posted to social media that a character's strobe weapon made them nauseous or triggered seizures.
The Epilepsy Foundation released a statement on Saturday, after moviegoers reported issues, urging Disney to issue warnings about the lights featured in "Incredibles 2." Disney ended up encouraging theaters to post alerts inside or at the box office.

Here are a few examples of social media complaints from over the weekend:
@DisneyPixar @Disney I am a HUGE fan of Disney & Pixar. Sunday I saw the Incredibles 2 and suffered a seizure right after. I spent 3 days in the hospital. Had a million tests done and my head is still currently pounding.

Incredibles 2 was good but the amount of scenes that almost made me sick really sucked. Cause I don't get seizures but there's long scenes of disgusting flashes. Thanks Pixar.

incredibles 2 was definitely worth it. although i would suggest they put a warning sign for epilepsy/seizure sensitive patients during certain scenes.
