“Connections Academy has a longstanding, successful history of supporting students’ academic and emotional needs in an online environment that keeps them engaged and focused on success. We look forward to our second year of delivering that high-quality educational experience to families in Missouri,” said Lynsie Hunt, Missouri Connections Academy School Leader. “Our students come to us with a variety of needs and we recognize every student learns differently. The power of virtual education is we have the capability and expertise to cater our curriculum to meet those individual needs.”
According to Christina Askin of Springfield, when their traditional school began teaching remotely due to the pandemic, her sons struggled to keep up with their work because of the rigid schedules. As a result, their frustration eventually grew into a loss of love for learning. That however changed when the family enrolled in Missouri Connections Academy and Christina’s sons were able to complete their schoolwork on a schedule and at a pace that works for them.

“Missouri Connections Academy has been an amazing alternative to the chaos we experienced and offers a more hands-on approach to learning. Amazing doesn’t even begin to describe it,” Christina said. “The flexibility the program offers is ideal as my sons have the ability to work ahead if they understand the material or to slow down if they need to spend more time. They are also able to take breaks when they need to get away from the computer for a moment. This has been the best decision for our family.”
