National Weather Service Issues Heat Advisory For Saint Louis
It's going to be very hot out there this weekend. Stay hydrated and never leave children or pets unattended in the car.

ST. LOUIS, MO — The National Weather Service in St. Louis has issued a heat advisory for the St. Louis region, including Alton, Belleville, Cahokia, Edwardsville, St. Charles and St. Louis, from noon Friday until 8 p.m. Sunday.
The dangerous combination of heat and humidity will result in heat index values up to 105 degrees, with little relief at night, the agency says, warning of an increased risk of heat-related stress and illness. The elderly and the very young are particularly at risk, as are those without air conditioning or those working outdoors or engaging in other outdoor activities.
Drink plenty of liquids, wear light, loose-fitting clothing, and rest whenever possible, the National Weather Service recommends. And, never leave pets or children unattended in hot cars.
