No Mail Delivery In St. Louis Wed During National Day Of Mourning
Post offices will be closed to honor former President George H.W. Bush, who died Friday.

ST. LOUIS, MO — For the most part, mail will not be delivered — including in St. Louis — during a national day of mourning Wednesday to honor former President George H.W. Bush, who died Friday.
The U.S. Postal Service announced it will suspend regular mail deliveries, retail services and administrative office activity on Dec. 5.

"We will provide limited package delivery service on that day to ensure that our network remains fluid and we do not experience any impacts to our package delivery operations that might negatively affect our customers or business partners during the remainder of our busy holiday season," a statement on the postal service website reads.

Federal offices and the U.S. financial markets also will be closed Wednesday.
