Penguins At The Saint Louis Zoo Enjoy A Snow Day: Video

Check out the video the zoo posted of some of their penguins frolicking in the snowflakes.

ST. LOUIS, MO — Some of the Saint Louis Zoo's penguins got to take a field trip yesterday, going outside to take a stroll through the snow flurries that fell most of Tuesday in St. Louis. King penguins Elliot, Ethel and Arthur, Gentoo penguin Schroeder and southern rockhopper penguins Woody and Buddah took part in the enrichment activity, zoo officials said.

"These penguins reside indoors at Penguin and Puffin Coast and they are given the option to participate in spontaneous winter walks that are enriching for the birds," the zoo wrote on Facebook.

Officials said the walks aren't pre-scheduled and do occur on a regular basis. All of the penguins are native to the Antarctica or the Antarctic region.
