St. Louis Christmas Grocery Hours: Dierbergs, Schnucks, Aldi

ST. LOUIS, MO — Christmas is nearly here. The presents are wrapped, lights are twinkling and holiday cards are in the mail. Everything is set. Then you remember — Nanny developed a mysterious gluten allergy in her later years. Holiday rolls are off the table and, more importantly, so are your Christmas cookies.

You need to whip up a gluten free dessert quickly. But it’s Christmas Day! Who could possibly be open in St. Louis? Fear not. We’ve been there, too. That’s why Patch reached out to major grocery chains nationwide and in St. Louis, including Walmart, Target, Dierbergs and Schnucks, to find out where you can go and when.

Below is a list of grocery stores that will be open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Many have varying hours, so always remember to double check with the store to make sure the doors aren’t locked when you arrive.

  • Christmas Eve: Most stores open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Christmas Day: Most stores open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (excludes stores inside Target).

  • Christmas Eve: Closes at 5:30 p.m.
  • Christmas: Closed.
• Schnucks
  • Christmas Eve: Closes at 5:30 p.m.

  • Christmas Eve: Stores open at 7 a.m. and close at 10 p.m.
  • Christmas Day: Closed

  • Christmas Eve: All stores close at 6 p.m.

  • Christmas: 24 hour stores open all day, others 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
