St. Louis School Calendar 2018-19: First Day Of School, Vacations

ST. LOUIS, MO — The first day of school in St. Louis is August 14 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The St. Louis School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

• 9/14: No School (Staff Development)

October

• 10/12: No School (Staff Development)
• 10/18 - 10/19: Parent Teacher Conferences

November

• 11/12: No School (Veterans Day)
• 11/21 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/21: No School (Record Keeping)
• 12/22 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1 - 1/4: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/18: No School (Staff Development)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/15: No School (Staff Development)
• 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day)

March

• 3/21 - 3/22: Parent Teacher Conferences
• 3/25 - 3/29: No School (Spring Recess)

May

• 5/23: Last Day of School
