Taxi Driver Carjacked In St. Louis' Fox Park

ST. LOUIS, MO — Police say a taxi driver was carjacked early Tuesday morning in south St. Louis. KMOV reports the incident happened near Interstate 44 and Jefferson Avenue. The driver had picked up a passenger in north St. Louis, but upon reaching his destination, the man pulled a gun.

Upon seeing the weapon, the driver told police he jumped out of the cab and the man drove away. Police tracked the stolen vehicle through the cab driver's cell phone, which he had left behind, but were unable to locate the carjacker.
