Two Pilots Eject From F-15 Jet On MidAmerica St. Louis Runway
It's not clear why the pilots ejected shortly after landing at the airport around 7:30 Tuesday morning.

MASCOUTAH, IL — Two pilots ejected from an F-15 fighter jet while it was on the runway of MidAmerica St. Louis Airport in Mascoutah, Illinois, Fox 2 reports. No serious injuries were reported.
It's not clear why the pilots ejected shortly after touching down at the airport around 7:30 Tuesday morning.
Boeing told Fox 2 the jet had just landed safely before the pilots ejected, but an air force statement suggests the plane had departed the runway prior to the incident.

"An F-15QA, recently accepted by the Air Force from the Boeing Corporation, departed the runway today at MidAmerica Airport, Ill.," the air force said in a statement. "Two U.S. active-duty pilots who were on board ejected safely and received minor injuries. The aircraft was slated to be transferred to the Qatari Air Force through the Foreign Military Sales program. The incident is currently under investigation."
