- Barnes & Noble LEGO Architecture Studio Event: Friday at 7 p.m. at Barnes & Noble 320 Mid Rivers Center Dr., St. Peters. Adults and teenagers are invited to discuss, learn about, and build an architectural object. Space is limited. Call 636-278-1118 to sign up.
- St. Louis International Children’s Film Festival: Friday at 7 p.m. at 209 S Kingshighway St, St Charles. Cinema St. Louis will offer film
programs, camps, and a workshop. Film programs will be
screened for free at Lindenwood University. - Bob Kuban Band Concert: Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Foundry Arts Centre in St. Charles. Featuring bandstand favorites to present-day hits, come dance with the Bob Kuban Band. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and tickets are $15. - Bubble Mania: Bring kids ages 2-5 out for some fun at Progress Park on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Use bubble machines, bubble blowers, wands and other gadgets to make bubbles of all shapes and sizes! Parents are encouraged to actively participate. Program will take place outside. Please dress according to weather conditions.
- Back to School Party: Saturday at 11 a.m. at 801 First Capitol Dr., St. Charles. First United Methodist Church hosts the free event featuring food,
games, bounce houses, crafts as well as free school supplies for all children. - 6th Annual SandMan Festival at Grace Community Chapel: Saturday at 4 p.m. at Grace Community Chapel, 7661 Mexico Road, St. Peters. Activities include sand sculptures by professional, live music and kids activities including a juggler. You can also enjoy barbecue to help the church d help us dig a well for a needy village in Honduras. Click here for more information.
- Free Bluegrass Concert and Ice Cream Social in O'Fallon: Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at Fort Zumwalt Park,1000 Jessup Drive, O'Fallon. Listen to the tunes of George Portz & the Friends of Bluegrass perform on the grounds outside the historic Heald Home overlooking Lake Whetsel. Bring a blanket or chairs for lawn seating. A free dish of ice cream will be available courtesy of a local business.
