Crews Mark Milestone on Page Avenue Extension Construction

Construction crews met a milestone on work on Phase 3 of the Page Extension at Gutermuth Road last week when they set the first girders for the overpass there. 

Phase 3 of the Page Extension will add nine miles of highway between Mid Rivers Mall Drive in St. Peters and the Route N and Interstate 64 interchange in Lake Saint Louis. 

Currently, crews are working on building a bridge to take Gutermuth over Route 364. Last week, crews set 12 girders for the bridge.

"That's our first milestone to get something finished on the Page project," said Linda Wilson Horn, community relations coordinator for the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Here are two dates to know about upcoming construction on Gutermuth at Page: 

• Paving of road (mid to late August).
• Bridge opening by Aug. 30.
