Halloween Already? Two Stores Coming to St. Peters

Back to school time means it's time for temporary Halloween stores to appear.
St. Peters Planning and Zoning on Wednesday approved two Halloween stores in the city.
Spirit Halloween store will open at 190 Mid Rivers Center in the former JoAnn Fabrics location near the Value City. A second shop will open at 32 Harvester Square in the former Ace Hardware store on the south side of South St. Peters Parkway.
The shops will be open from Aug. 28 to Nov. 3.
Hours in August will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. When it gets closer to Halloween, the stores will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
During the Wednesday meeting the Planning and Zoning Commission also approved Play it Again Sports, a store that sells new and used sports and fitness equipment at 230-234 Mid Rivers Center, on the south side of Suemandy Drive.
