Happy Mother's Day To Susan Declue

ST. PETERS, MO — Whether it's through their personalities, looks, hobbies, or a combination of everything, children become a reflection of the woman who raised them.

Susan Declue submitted the following for mom Susan Declue:

Why she is special: My daughter would submit this if she was alive. Unfortunately after 303 days in the hospital and I lost her on 9/11/19 at age 40. She was 4'10 and hugged everyone she knew when she saw you. She had over 250 people from around the state come to honor her at her funeral and everyone said she had a great mom. I was honored to be her mom and will miss her on Mother's Day as she never missed a special occasion to do something for me.

Message: Her last mothers day card to me read and "thanks for all you do for me and for being my mom".
