Police Blotter: Mall Employee Admits to Stealing More Than $500 Worth of Merchandise

The following information was supplied by the St. Peters Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Recovered Stolen Property

  • A resident located two letters that were stolen from a local neighborhood sign in the creek at Mexico Road/Eldorado.  The letters were returned to the homeowners association.
Assault
  • A 14-year-old female and a 16-year-old female got into a physical altercation on school property at Francis Howell North. There were no injuries that required medical attention. The case was forwarded to the St. Charles County Family Court.
Stealing 
  • An employee was caught stealing merchandise from the store at 1 Mid Rivers Mall. The employee admitted to stealing more than $500 worth of items over a period of time. The suspect was arrested and released pending application of warrants.
