Pooper Troopers to Collect 150,000 Diapers for Crisis Nursery

Largest diaper drive in area's history to help the Crisis Nursery

The Pooper Troopers are out to change the world, one dirty diaper at a time!

In 2017, the Pooper Troopers collected and donated over 70,000 diapers to the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery and those diapers lasted for seven months. This year the goal is to gather more than twice that--150,000 diapers!

The Pooper Troopers’ Diaper Drive is from September 17th through September 30th and is generously sponsored by KMOV-TV and Aldi.

Saint Louis Crisis Nursery CEO, DiAnne Mueller, says the Nursery’s need for diapers is never-ending. “Between the diapers we use for the children who stay with us and the diapers we give away to parents who come to our door, we use over 120,000 diapers every year. The generosity of the Pooper Troopers, KMOV-TV, and Aldi is just amazing; we never dared to dream we would receive this kind of help.”

While The Pooper Troopers have a healthy sense of humor and a lot of fun with their name and their mission statement, they are extremely dedicated and focused on this very real cause. Spokesperson Justin Emge, whose family founded the Pooper Troopers, explained, “Everyone who knows about the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery is proud of what they do for families in need of emergency care, and the Pooper Troopers couldn't be happier to assist this amazing organization. We are extremely honored to partner with KMOV-TV, Aldi and the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery as we work to change the world, one dirty diaper at a time."
