Pooper Troopers Set Diaper Drive World Record!!
Over 333,000 diapers collected for the Crisis Nursery

At the conclusion of their recent Diaper Drive, The Pooper Troopers set a new record by collecting over 333,000 diapers in 10 days in a single metropolitan area!!! The diapers were collected for the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery, the area’s premier child abuse prevention agency.
When money is tight, some families have to keep their baby in the same diaper for a day, or even longer. This leads to health risks and increases the potential for abuse because the baby cries more. The Crisis Nursery staff gives away thousands and thousands of diapers to families who need them, from Jefferson County to North County, and from East St. Louis to Wentzville. In addition, the Crisis Nursery uses tens of thousands of diapers every year in their five Nursery locations where emergency respite care is offered.
Erwin Emge, co-founder of The Pooper Troopers, said, “There are three things every child deserves: 1. A dry bottom, 2. Food in their tummy and, 3. Loving arms to hold them. The Saint Louis Crisis Nursery provides all three…but needed our help with the first one.”

“We have searched and searched, but we are unable to find any information on a diaper drive that has collected more than 330,000 diapers in just 10 days in one area!” said Jane Beckman, Crisis Nursery Communications Director. “The Pooper Troopers, and their sponsors, KMOV-TV and Aldi, did an astounding job—unlike any diaper drive anywhere in the country--and the Crisis Nursery could not be more grateful.”
“We are honored and humbled that The Pooper Troopers and thousands of people all across the area believe in the Crisis Nursery and want to help us keep kids safe,” said Dianne Mueller, CEO of the Crisis Nursery. “It brings tears to my eyes, thinking about how many babies will be happier and healthier because of The Pooper Troopers, KMOV, and Aldi.”
