Taylor and Newstead Bridges Over I-64 to Close After Morning Rush Period Monday
The Missouri Department of Transportation reports on the St. Louis work zones for January 17-23.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the Taylor and Newstead bridges over Interstate 64 starting after morning rush period Monday January 21.
On January 21-23, crews will close the inside lane on I-64 in both directions overnight to fill in the rumble strips. Work will start about 8 p.m. Monday on the eastbound lanes and then will move to the westbound lanes after eastbound is finished. Lanes will be reopened to traffic by 5 a.m. the following morning.
MoDOT has a full closure of both eastbound and westbound I-64 from Kingshighway Boulevard to Forest Park Parkway scheduled for the weekend of January 25 to remove the Taylor and Newstead bridges.

- I-70, (westbound section of the Interstate 70 Blanchette bridge over the Missouri River) will remain closed until fall 2013. The eastbound I-70 bridge has three lanes of traffic in each direction. The ramp from northbound 5th Street to eastbound I-70 is closed until fall 2013.
- Wellington, St. Louis City, the Wellington bridge closed over the River Des Peres until April 2013. Detour to Jamieson Avenue bridge.
- I-70, St. Louis City, the exit ramp from westbound I-70 to Madison will remain closed until late January, due to needed utility work.
