Try a Triathlon! Five Upcoming Races
Check out several upcoming races in the St. Peters area.
- Conquer Castlewood Team Adventure Race: 8 a.m. Aug. 18 at Castlewood State Park. People compete in teams of two participants in three categories. The race includes a 1-2 mile canoe ride, 4-5 mile bike ride and 3-4 mile run.
- 4th Annual Pound the Pavement for Parks: 8 a.m. Aug. 24 at the intersection of N. Linn Avenue and East Pearce Blvd. in downtown Wentzville. This 5k/10k run is held in connection with Wabash Days.
- Sunset Hills Triathlon: 6:30 a.m. at Watson Trail Park Pool Aug. 24. This sprint distance triathlon begins with a 400 yard serpentine swim, a 10.1 mile bike and 3.1 mile run. The race is $45.
- Run for Rotary 5k: 8 a.m. Sept. 14, Lakeside 370 Park in St. Peters. The event benefits local Rotary Clubs including St. Peters.
- Ms. Molly Foundation 5k Run/Walk: 9 a.m. Sept. 14, Legacy Park in Cottleville, Mo. The 5k race is $25, and one-mile fun run is $10.
