Banned Old Navy Shopper Keeps Coming Back for More

Sunset Hills Police Department reports, Aug. 23-29.

Theft, burglary

  • Aug. 23: An unchained pocket bike was reported stolen to the police department around 9:39 a.m. The man left the bike propped up against the wall outside where he worked, and it was gone when he came back outside, according to police.
  • Aug. 24: A fraud involving a car posted for sale on Craigslist was reported at Bank of America, 10230 Watson Rd. around 11:55 a.m.

Missing property

  • Aug. 27: A TV was stolen from a work vehicle parked at Hampton Inn, 1580 Lindbergh.
  • Aug. 28: A resident on the 11900 block of Gravois Road reported their dog was missing and believed to be stolen.

  • Aug. 23: A man was taken into custody for assault at Circle K, 1435 S. Lindbergh around 5:29 p.m.

Destruction of property

  • Aug. 27: A window was broken at EconoLodge, 3730 S. Lindbergh.

  • Aug. 25: Police Department, 9:22 p.m.
  • Aug. 25: Highway 30 at Landmark Parkway 2:30 p.m.
  • Aug. 28: A customer who was suspected of shoplifting and banned from Old Navy returned to the store around 8:19 p.m. The individual was taken into custody after employees called police for trespassing.

Protective custody

  • Aug. 27: Police took an individual into protective custody at Circle K, 1435 S. Lindbergh, around 10:44 p.m.
