Beautifying Kennerly Elementary

About 15 Lindbergh families helped clear yard waste and get the elementary school ready for the school year!

A lot of work goes into preparing for the school year--and not just by teachers. Fifteen Kennerly Elementary School families participated in a campus beautifying project on Aug. 10, helping to garden, pull weeds, and clean up the school's grounds. Volunteers filed an entire dump truck with yard waste, according to the Lindbergh School District.

Principal Dr. Todd Morgan was also on hand to help out.

“It was a great sense of community, and Kennerly is so fortunate to have caring parents who dedicate their free time to making our school a clean, inviting place to learn,” Dr. Morgan said.
