Former Crestwood Man Highlighted After Opening Southwest Diner

Jonathan Jones, who grew up in Crestwood, is the subject of an article in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Before he opened Southwest Diner just outside of Maplewood, Jonathan Jones grew up in Crestwood.

And Jones, who opened the restaurant with Anna Sidel, was highlighted in an article on the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's website. That happened after one of the newspaper's readers shared his suggestion for the restaurant's green chile enchiladas.

"When I lived in New Mexico, I had easy access to green chile chicken enchiladas, so I never bothered to master the dish. Since moving back to Missouri, I crave them and recently found an excellent version at Southwest Diner," wrote the reader, Sam Pratt.
