FOX2 VIDEO: Hoarder's Animals Rescued, Moving to Sunset Hills
In addition to more than 50 cats and dogs, the so-called hoarder also kept donkeys, skunks, and chinchillas at a West Plains residence.
Animals hoarded by a resident in West Plains, Mo., will be transported to Sunset Hills to receive vaccinations and care before they're sent to other animal rescues, according to a report from FOX2.
Officials collected the animals from the home Thursday morning. The inventory of rescued animals includes "goats, horses, donkeys, skunks, chinchillas, and 50 cats and dogs," according to the FOX2 report.
The homeowner has not been charged at this time, according to the report.

Estimates of just how many animals were seized from the home vary. FOX2 cites "dozens," while a report from CBS St. Louis put the number in the hundreds.
Officials found stacks of animal cages with no food or water bowls, according to a CBS St. Louis report.
