Good news broke out at Crestwood's Animal Control shelter Monday when this little Beagle mix, Roscoe, was happily adopted. The family has three kids (which makes Roscoe happy) and another dog, a Weimaraner.
Officials searched for previous owners to no avail for the estimated 8-12 month old neutered male. He was found straying about on Briarton, Jan. 24, and trailing a chewed off rope.
"I can't believe nobody came for him," Animal Control Director Suzie Sutton said. "He is so sweet."

Sutton said she was pleased Roscoe found a home with another dog because he would learn good behavior from him more quickly than any other way--especially since he's so young.
Last week, a black pug was given up to the shelter, and Sutton said she was adopted within 15 minutes of being readied for adoption.
