Crisis Nursery Presents Prestigious Couple of the Year Award to Sandon & Karen Wool

St. Louis, MO – The area’s foremost child abuse and neglect prevention agency, the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery, will present their prestigious HUGS & KISSES Couple of the Year Award to Sandon and Karen Wool of Town & Country, MO.

For 23 years, the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery has bestowed the ‘HUGS & KISSES’ awards to individuals, businesses, and groups who have shown Helpfulness, Uncommon Generosity, Sincere Kindness, Integrity, Shining Service, and Extraordinary Support for the Crisis Nursery. There is no higher award from this nationally known organization.

DiAnne Mueller, CEO of the Crisis Nursery, said, “Sandon and Karen are long time, very generous supporters of the Saint Louis Crisis Nursery and they are particularly sensitive to the homeless population we serve. Karen has been a volunteer at the Crisis Nursery Centene Center in South St. Louis, and they are true champions for our children and their families.”

The award will be presented at the Crisis Nursery’s Razzle Dazzle Ball on April 4, 2020.

About the Crisis Nursery: The Saint Louis Crisis Nursery provides a safe haven 24-hours a day, 365 days a year for children, birth through age 12, whose families are facing a crisis. Parents bring children to the Nursery free of charge, on a voluntary basis where they receive a medical exam, therapeutic activities, nutritious meals, and take-home necessities. Parents receive crisis counseling, in-home visits, and parent education groups at one of ten outreach centers. In 34 years we have served over 120,000 children.
