Employee Confesses to Stealing From Manchester Business

Plus, police are investigating after a Costo employee reports his car was damaged while he worked and a shopper falls victim to an in-store theft.

The following information was supplied by the Manchester Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made.

Sept. 11: 400 block Lafayette Center

Stealing: Police received a report of a wallet that was stolen from a purse while the victim was shopping.  This case has been forwarded to the detective bureau for further investigation.

Sept. 6: 14200 block Manchester Road

Stealing: The owner of a store reported to police that a former employee confessed to stealing merchandise from the store. The investigation is ongoing.

Sept. 1: 300 block Highlands Boulevard Drive

Property Damage: A person reported that his car had been scratched and the paint damaged while he was working at the Manchester Costco. A report was made for insurance purposes.
