McCracken Places at Westminster Wrestling Tournament
Westminster Christian Academy junior Charlie McCracken places third in weight class at Wrestling Tournament.
There’s nothing quite like those days, or tournaments, when you end up coming out on top. That’s what Westminster junior Charlie McCracken experienced after finishing third in the 195 pound weight class at the Westminster Tournament last Saturday.
McCracken competed against two state medalists in the bracket, wrestling close matches with both of them. Varsity head coach Tim Muehleisen commented,
“I'm happy for Charlie to have had some great matches at the Westminster Tournament. He ran into some top-flight opponents and wrestled them very tough. He is set up for a good year and can expect to go a long way if he continues to compete with the tenacity he showed this weekend. He is a pleasure to get to coach!”
