AAA Insurance Reopening in Manchester, Offers Travel Arrangements Too

A fresh AAA Insurance group now serves customers throughout Missouri from a local office that reopened at 477 Lafayette Center, in Manchester's West Oaks Plaza. The staff recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the West St. Louis County Chamber team and members.

AAA Manager Brad McCarty said the new, seven-member staff can assist with travel planning for both the U.S. and international trips, as well as auto and home insurance needs.

"People may think of us for AAA membership, which includes roadside services, towing and help with breakdowns," said McCarty. "But now we can also assist them with cruises and vacation destinations, such as Disney and Universal Studios."

He said AAA members can receive free passport photos, free movies, exclusive vacation packages and special prices on theme tickets to places such as Six Flags St. Louis in Eureka or Branson.

The price for AAA membership ranges from $62 to $114 per year. McCarty said an average towing bill costs $100, so the membership sometimes quickly pays for itself.

He said the new location is staffed with veteran sales professionals who specialize in protecting customers assets. "We like to give second opinions on insurance coverage to make sure our members get the most for their insurance dollars."

McCarty said AAA members automatically receive a 10 percent discount on auto insurance.

McCarty said four AAA sales agents used to be located in an office near Shop 'N Save, prior to reopening this new location. The new location became the most recent of about 15 AAA locations in the St. Louis metropolitan region.
