Westminster dance team places in top teams at Lindbergh Dance Invitational

The varsity dance team claims fourth place in their category at competition.

Westminster Christian Academy’s varsity dance team recently competed at the Lindbergh Dance Invitational and placed fourth in the pom-pon category.

The Invitational welcomes junior and senior high school pom-pon and dance drill teams, in addition to community groups. Teams perform in up to three of six categories offered at the competition: pom-pon, dance, high kick, novelty, mix, or hip hop.

Westminster team captain and senior Moira Wright said, "I'm so proud of my team! We put in so much work and it really came together. No matter our placement or award, we know that we are dancing for a bigger and better reason."
