Westminster Student Receives Distinguished Achievement Award in Science

Westminster Christian Academy junior Michael Thoenen is recognized by UMSL for excelling in the sciences.

Westminster Christian Academy junior Michael Thoenen was recently recognized by the University of Missouri-St. Louis and presented with the Distinguished Achievement Award for Excellence in Science by UMSL’s College of Arts and Sciences.

The special reception and ceremony, held in UMSL’s new Science Learning Building, honored some of the region’s best junior-level high school science students. All students who received the award were recognized for their exceptional grades, talent, and success in the sciences.
