Allows for All Nonpublic Schools to Receive Equitable Services
UNIVERSITY CITY, MO – Section 18005 of the CARES Act provides that The School District of University City as a Local Education Agency (LEA) receiving funding from ESSER (Elementary and Secondary School Relief Fund) provide equitable services to non-public schools as required under section 1117 of the ESEA (Every Student Succeeds Act).

All nonpublic schools are eligible to participate in receiving equitable services under the CARES act regardless of participation in ESEA programs. Please refer to the PUBLIC NOTICE Nonpublic School Participation Services through the CARES Act for more information.
