Driver Fled Police After Crashing In University City
The driver seems to have gotten away after crashing his car in the parking lot of Taco Bell, just off the Delmar Loop.
A driver fled from police after crashing his vehicle in the Taco Bell parking lot on North Skinker Blvd. in University City Monday night. A large number of police from University City, St. Louis County, Metro St. Louis and possibly other jurisdictions searched for the driver near the Delmar Loop for several hours.
Additional details have not been released, but it looks like the driver got away. It's not clear what started the pursuit or what led to the crash around 6 p.m.
