Fondue Fairytale, SKIFF and Dishcrawl's Neighborfood This Weekend

We're running down 5 great things happening in and around University City this weekend.

We all know that University City is the place to be for fun activities. Patch has rounded up five places or events happening in and around University City this weekend for you and the family.

  1. Free Movie: Men in Black 2 Plays July 27 — Go see a movie in the park. Men in Black 2 plays Millar Park Saturday as part of University City's summer movies in the park series.
  2. Dishcrawl's Neighborfood — For $10, eight different restaurants will open their doors in the Delmar Loop. The ticket includes entry to the event and food at one participating location; additional food tickets and drink specials will be offered the day of the event. To get more information or buy tickets,

  3. Meet Mary Poppins at The Muny. Mary Poppins is playing The Muny in Forest Park for the first time this week. The show starts Thursday, July 25, and runs though Sunday, Aug. 2. 
  4. Fondue Fairytale at The Melting Pot Saturday. From 12 to 2:30 p.m., spend a afternoon with your favorite prince or princess at The Melting Pot's Fondue Fairytale event! Enjoy a three-course meal fit for royalty, compete in a costume contest, and more. Reservations are required. For more info, visit The Melting Pot's website.
  5. The St. Louis International Children's Film Festival (SKIFF/Kids) starts this weekend. Films will be shown at Washington University, History Museum and other locations.
