Get Out: Taste of St. Louis is Sept. 27-29

It's time to enjoy the beautiful fall weather and the best culinary treats St. Louis has to offer. The annual Taste of St. Louis is Sept. 27-29 at Soldiers Memorial in downtown St. Louis.

The event is open from 4-11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28; and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29.

The event is free to the public. Food, beverages, artwork and other goods are available for purchase. Highlights of this year's event include:

• (New) Beers of the World Tasting Experience — Ales and lagers will be available for purchase in taste-sized portions
• Restaurant Row — 45 restaurants with small taste-sized dishes for purchase
• Chef Battle Royale — Culinary competition on the Culinary Stage among eight of the regions best chefs
• Concerts — Free local and national acts all weekend
• The Artwalk — Juried artwork and wine sampling available for purchase
• The Marketplace — Local and national business exhibits and interactive displays
• Kid City — Fun and educational experiences and giveaways for the whole family
