Man Charged With Molesting 10-Year-Old in U City
Fred Butler Jr. is being held in St. Louis County jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
A man faces criminal charges for molesting a 10-year-old child in University City, police said.
Fred Butler Jr., 32, of the 3800 block of Penrose Street in St. Louis, was charged Feb. 8 with two counts of first-degree child molestation.
University City Police said Butler subjected the child to sexual contact on two occasions.

Butler was being held in St. Louis County jail Wednesday. Bail was set at $50,000, cash only.
