Police: U City Man Exposed Himself and Grabbed Woman's Breast in Maplewood Commons Restroom

Curtis Smith Jr., 31, of University City was arrested by Maplewood Police detectives on May 3, after warrants were issued by the St. Louis County Prosecuting Office for sexual misconduct in the first degree and sexual misconduct in the second degree.  

On April 7, Smith entered the women’s restroom of a Maplewood Commons business where a female employee was cleaning. 

Police say Smith exposed himself and grabbed the woman's breast without her consent.   

Maplewood Police are working with another local agency because it is believed Smith may have committed other inappropriate acts at another business. 

Police are attempting to locate the victims who reported Smith’s suspicious behavior to management of the other business. Smith is currently being held on a $10,000 cash only bond at the St. Louis County Justice Services Center.
