Police identified a man found shot to death over the weekend in North County as a University City resident.
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the victim is ONeal L. Stafford, 25, of University City. Stafford lived in the 700 block of Canterbury Road.
He was found dead of a gunshot wound at about 3:20 a.m. Sunday on the street corner of Winkler and Chambers, the Post reported.
Stafford had been previously convicted of possession of a controlled substance, according to Missouri CaseNet.
