This additional insurance will not disqualify residents from the current Sanitary Sewer Lateral Repair Program the City has in place.

August 12, 2020

Dear Residents/Residential Property Owners:

Find out what's happening in University Cityfor free with the latest updates from Patch.

As of August 3, 2020, the City of University City has worked with Utility Service Partners Inc. to offer an additional option (a warranty program) for the protection of residential sanitary sewer lateral lines. The company, Utility Service Partners Inc., is not partnered with the City of University City, but the City has allowed the company to use the City Logo for advertising purposes. Most, if not all, residents should have received a letter in the mail outlining what the additional insurance will offer. This additional insurance will not disqualify residents from the current Sanitary Sewer Lateral Repair Program the City has in place. This is not a SCAM. St. Louis County residents pay a $50.00 fee in their yearly Real Estate Taxes. The funds collected from this fee is used for the $2,500 covered cost of the City of University City Public Works’ Sanitary Sewer Lateral Repair Program. For more information please contact the representative listed in the letter from Utility Service Partners

Sincerely,
