University City School Calendar 2018-19: First Day And More

UNIVERSITY CITY, MO — The first day of school in University City is August 14 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you’ll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The University City School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

Here is the full list of dates to know for this school year:

September

• 9/3: No School (Labor Day)
• 9/26: No School (Staff Development)
• 9/27 - 9/28: No School / Parent Teacher Conferences

October

• 10/19: Early Release
• 10/22: No School (Staff Development)

November

• 11/20: Early Release
• 11/21 - 11/23: No School (Thanksgiving Recess)

December

• 12/20: Early Release (High School)
• 12/21: Early Release
• 12/22 - 12/31: No School (Holiday Recess)

January

• 1/1 - 1/4: No School (Holiday Recess)
• 1/7: No School (Staff Development)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/15: Early Release
• 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day)
• 2/21 - 2/22: No School / Parent Teacher Conferences

March

• 3/15: Early Release
• 3/18 - 3/22: No School (Spring Break)
