University City Schools Dismissing Early Ahead Of Winter Storm
High school students will be dismissed at 11 a.m., middle school students at 11:30 a.m., and elementary school students at 12:15 p.m.
UNIVERSITY CITY, MO — University City Schools will dismiss students early on Wednesday, Feb. 5, ahead of a winter storm forecasted to bring 1 to 4 inches of snow, plus additional sleet and ice to the St. Louis region, according to the National Weather Service. All district schools and offices will close at 1 p.m., officials said.
Early dismissal times for Feb. 5 are:
- 11 a.m. University City High School (No afternoon session for Lieberman Learning Center)
- 11:30 a.m. Brittany Woods Middle School
- 12:15 p.m. All elementary schools and Julia Goldstein Early Childhood Education Center
In addition, district officials said all after-school and evening activities, including all home athletic events, are canceled or postponed, and there will be no childcare today. Custodial and maintenance workers are asked to contact their supervisors for further instructions.
