Annual BBQ & Family Fun Day!!

Growing up in the New Melle area, everyone always looked
forward to the annual Old Time Picnic. 
It was always so much fun – homemade ice cream, classic cars, old
engines, games, friends, family, BBQ…  I
was really sad to see that tradition die, but Friedens Peace United Church of
Christ is very happy to be a part of building a new tradition.

Friedens Peace is hosting a BBQ & Family Fun Day on August
10 this year and we hope you will join us for a day of great food, family,
friends and fun!  There will be delicious
BBQ Pork Steaks & Chicken as well as Hot Dogs and Pulled Pork
Sandwiches.  The Dinner price is $10.00
and includes grilled corn on the cob, slaw, baked beans and ice cream for
dessert.

Activities include a bounce house, games for adults &
kids, beer tent and a 50/50 drawing,  –
lots to eat and lots to do!  What a great
way to celebrate the end of the summer. 
Come take a break from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a day with your
friends and family where you don’t have to cook, just relax, eat good food and
hang out!
